Who I Am
I'm an award-winning writer and editor specializing in science, health and medicine, education, social justice, and business content. I write articles, newsletters, brochures, blogs, web content, fundraising and marketing materials for a variety of nonprofit, corporate and higher education institutions. I manage large projects, including magazines and annual reports, and write for a variety of audiences, from physicians and scientists to consumers.
Clients include The New York Community Trust, Rutgers University, Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey, New Jersey Medical School, Rutgers Bloustein School of Public Policy, Yale School of Medicine, Kessler Foundation, Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, Children's Specialized Hospital, U.S. Navy Seabees, The Munshine Group, and Volunteer Lawyers for Justice.
As a writer and editor at Rutgers University and the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ), I produced award-winning annual reports, newsletters, magazines, and web content. I was child care editor at Good Housekeeping Magazine, writing a monthly column on parenting and producing other editorial content. Our annual special edition on parenting, produced in collaboration with the American Academy of Pediatrics, won Good Housekeeping’s first-ever National Magazine Award.
